Oh, how I love speech bubbles

I never used to understand why people didn't like them, and only regretted that it was so hard to get them properly in-frame. Now I know why it's annoying if your Sims refuse to stay on the topic you want, but I still laugh at them.
I brought SJ, Brody, and Dinadan over for a quick shoot at the main house. I would have waited, only it was getting difficult to find a time when they were all available. I summoned them to the lot, had Killick make some fish and Call to Meal (this often works, but not always, if a visiting sim decides not to be hungry.)
I always think it's interesting to see who talks to whom, and about what:
SJ zeroed in on Jack.

Jack: Eggs?
SJ: No eggs. No eggs ever, of any kind.

Sophia decided to talk to Brody.
Sophia: Oh, MY. Penelope didn't do you justice!
Brody: Um. . . thanks?

Dinadan: Kitty, kitty!

Since not all of them were interested in dinner, I made them selectable for a second, sat them down, and unselected them.
Dinadan can't stop talking about this.

He never shuts up about it, and I'm not exaggerating.

SJ: Dude, I wouldn't.
Brody: Seriously.

Sophia: Lips? Oh, really? How nice for you.

Sophia: JAIL CELL.
Jack: Do you not think that is rather harsh, my own?

I de-selected them all, and all three of them hung around until I had Killick say Goodbye. SJ went and got himself scared by one of the family ghosts: too bad he didn't seem to be rolling the want at the moment. Brody wandered off to use the facilities, I think. Everyone swarmed the kitties. And:
Killick: I gots to talk to somebody about the wooden bear I seed with Ruby.
Dinadan: OK?

Dinadan will listen to practically anything.
Still have lots to do, of course, but it's fun getting there. I have some ideas and I'm trying to figure out if they're too sentimental, or if I should go straight for the throast.
