Coolness, looks like it's coming along. The way you're talking about it makes it sound like there's a big dark secret happening and all the pink is just a coverup.
Oh and if you want there's a really good tutorial on the exchange for building garages connected to houses on foundations. It's the only way I ever figured it out. It requires a couple of cheats but it's pretty straightforwards:
