Squeaky Clean Legacy, 16.1, Part 4

You may remember that my science nerd spare Mortimer’s branch of the family is decidedly odd. In the last chapter, Count Whoopie had cured his vampirism and aged along with his husband Elroy. Continuing the family depends on the Terror Twins. And between their Servo, Spaceley, various wolves, and the other members of the family, the house is nearly full.

Elroy: You’re sure about this, honey?
Carmilla: Don’t worry about it, Grandpa. I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time, and so has Lucy.

Carmilla puts their plan into action that very evening. Invited guest: Rhys Fitzhugh. Uninvited guests: Don and Gage Uglacy.

Even very outgoing Sims like Rhys and Carmilla shoo other Sims away for what followed.
The problem is that they didn’t shoo far enough. Gage, that is creepy.

Carmilla: Mmm. I love redheads.

She certainly does. The next day, she invited Stanley Legacy over.

Did I mention Carmilla has been following the fine old family tradition of Try For Baby only? Well, she has.

Stanley: What an interesting vehicle! Did you call it a “car”? It’s much more comfortable than a carriage.
Carmilla: Yeah, it is. Would you like to see how comfortable it can be?

Carmilla: Professor Rorschach? Could you help me with my homework? Yes, I know I graduated, but I’d like you to come to my home and do some work.

Professor Rorschach was happy to oblige.
Carmilla: Do you remember my sister?

Professor Rorschach: Lucy? Of course I do.
Carmilla: Your turn, Luce.

Carmilla: I done good, Lucy?
Lucy: Yes, Milly. You done good.

Professor Rorschach: This wasn’t what I was. . .oh dear.

What can I say, Professor? You never forget either of the Terror Twins.

Now you can go right back and start doing research on the psychological effects of vampirism. That’s if you still are employed by the Psych Department.
Somewhere in there, there was a lullaby, but for now, Carmilla, Lucy, and I won’t tell you when it was.

Meanwhile, Achilles and Ulysses had settled into a bachelor pad in Bluewater Village.
Achilles: Hi, we just moved in.
Neighbor: Pleased to meet you. I’m Dino Caliente.

Dino: You know what? It’s too bad you’re a boy. I think you’d have been just my brother’s type if my brother were my sister.
Achilles: Yeah, too bad about that.
--There is a perfectly reasonable way to work this out, Achilles.
Achilles: Forget it. Not interested.

Ulysses sleeps all day, while Achilles climbs up the Slacker career track. He’s a Professional Party Guest, and he likes to throw parties even when he’s not working. Ulysses, I noticed Doc Nerd was first on your list.
Ulysses: Of course we had to invite her. She designed our house!
Uh-huh.

The parties are all the more popular because the boys get the best pastry in town at J’Adore.

And the parties are always Good Times, even though they are always interrupted by neighborhood cop, Dorothy Kauker.
Ulysses: Ho-hum. Another brilliant party.
Achilles: You know what we need? More girls.

And so Achilles invites over his girlfriend, Brandi Lillard. I think Achilles would probably like some more girlfriends, but he’s not insistent on it.
Achilles: Did you hear something?

Ulysses: You’d think it would be easier the second time, wouldn’t you?

Achilles: Did he get abducted again?
I’m afraid so.
Achilles: Sigh. Well, there’s nothing I can do about it now.

Achilles: Now, Miss Lillard, where were we before we were so rudely interrupted?

Too much pastry, Ulysses?
Ulysses: No, I’m assuming I’m pregnant. I’m not stupid.

Both the boys take this development in stride.

As much as you CAN take something like this in stride.
Ulysses: Agh! Is this normal?
Achilles: If you ask me, nothing about this is normal.

It’s all worth it, though, as Ulysses welcomes the first baby of Generation Nine, a lovely little girl named Nausicaa.

Achilles: What a booful little girl. Is she happy to see Uncle Achilles? Is she? She is!

Does ‘ums look forward to being drinking age and partying with Uncle Achilles?
Ulysses: Drinking age, hmm?

Achilles: This wasn’t exactly what I had in mind.

Aw come on, Achilles. Admit it: You adore her. And why wouldn’t you?
Thanks first of all to the marvelous

Stay tuned for Generation Nine babies and some plottiness.

De: Your mother had better figure out a way to fix this, or else.

Date: 2009-05-18 06:55 pm (UTC)*crosses fingers* I hope it's Rhys' baby, I really do :) Stanley's baby would also be good, as he's rather cute.
Nausicaa is a very lovely color! I really, really like it. For a moment, I thought she had one of the vampire replacements so she would be all sparkles all the time, much to Achilles' shame; but then I remembered that you replaced your PT.
*squee* I can't wait to see what the "official" start to Generation 9 looks like :)
And lastly...Reverese Gender Pleasantview?! GAH! I had never heard of it! *wrings hands* That would have been awesome....*mumble mumble mumble* Anyway...
Awesome update once again :) As always, I'm looking forward to more pink, cute and fluffiness; whenever that will come about.

Date: 2009-05-18 10:32 pm (UTC)My lips are sealed on Carmilla's baby. I haven't even seen it myself yet, only I'm sure it will have red hair. I was thrilled that Ulysses had a pink baby girl, though any of the interesting colors would have been nice. Marhis' reversed-gender Pleasantview is a hoot and I had been thinking of doing this if I had to rebuild. It's not a bad idea to think about that in advance, just in case, plus it saved me the trouble of building the whole neighborhood from scratch. I have the beta version, which is N 020. Marhis made a new one, which replaces N001, but I wanted to keep original Pleasantview.
I have a lot of grading for the next few weeks but I'll probably sneak some simming time anyway.
Oh this is so cool!
Date: 2009-05-18 10:45 pm (UTC)So it's not some Bizarro Pleasantview where all the townies and NPCs are the opposite gender! That's pretty cool.
And Generation 9 is on the way! I am going to so miss this legacy.

Date: 2009-05-18 11:38 pm (UTC)The weddings were gorgeous. I know you loved having different cakes! Achillies is going to have fun being an uncle.
And I can't wait to see Milla's baby, and find out who the daddy is. :D
I hope this was as fun for you to shoot and make as it was for me to read.
