Oh the nostalgia! My one attempt at a story so far was influenced by what might have been a forerunner of this very test. My founder at the time scored something like a 7.
A principle I was taken with at the time: break rules of good writing, artfully. I picked the easiest available methods to "improve" the score. Specifically, I remember "Is the character Asian?" and "Is the character female?"
I figured the closest I could come to Kirk was Mr. Big.

I still say Jubilation T. Goodytwoshoes would have been the awesomest name EVAR.
