It really does make a difference, somehow. I feel bad for the kids, too, but as the saying goes, that's an explanation, not an excuse. Angus may be messed up, but he shouldn't be forgiven for the stuff he did and said to Elaine, some of which was TRULY unforgivable. (To me the worst is saying "it wasn't my idea to get engaged in the first place." DIE.)
