Happy New Year!

profbuttersI "celebrated" twice: once East Coast time, with Rachel Maddow on the TV and some nice champagne, plus some cranberry-stuffed chicken breasts from Trader Joe's, and once West Coast time. I played my Sims right up till midnight. The story goes that you ought to be doing something that makes you happy, and I am really happy Simming on my new computer.
I'm playing all the college houses now, and I'm up through the first semester at Goodygirls and just finished with the boys' house. I've always loved playing my Goodytwoshoes boys: it's a cheat-free house, but I don't have to be as careful about what happens there.
And besides, who wouldn't like stuff like this?
One thing I always like is Goodytwoshoes boys playing with the boys' Womrat, Saxen-Coburg-Gotha.
I'm really impressed by this young man.
Ulysses has been working hard. The 4.0 is easy--all my Sims get 4.0s if I halfway try--but he also started a Greek house, and got the Big Sim on Campus memory. That wasn't so easy, because if you think about it, a vampire only has about five hours a day to make friends, unless they're talking to other vampires. Finally I got the memory. I wasn't sure how, so I checked some old posts on Boolprop.com, and of course it's maxing the Influence meter. The Greek House is at Level Six already, so all I need to do is get him into the Secret Society, maintain his 4.0, and have a roofraiser grad party--oh, yes, and keep him alive.
Doc Nerd became one of Ulysses' friends for the friend count. I don't think she minded, though for a while, I thought she was going to throw down with some vapid dormie who did something to irritate her.
Barrett decided that Max needed some cheering up, and what better way to cheer anyone up than with karaoke? You may remember that his daddies, Brutus and DG, loved this thing; you may also note his flashing his profile. Nice Points or not, Barrett would be a total ladykiller if I let him off the chain. I actually caught him trying to Caress Penelope autonomously at one point. Luckily she dodged him.
Max would rather gossip. About their uncle Lytton's pet sheep, Baa-Baa.

Anyway, some progress has been made. I need to get them extracted, but they wouldn't cooperate before. I'm looking forward to finishing Uni.
